Accoya Windows & Doors for a Listed Arts and Crafts Home in Sheen, Richmond

The owners of this beautiful, listed Arts and Craft’s home in Sheen, Richmond, were keen to upgrade their old single-glazed windows without losing the prominent character they afforded the property.

Woodland carefully matched the profiles of the original windows, including the chunky timber sections, which were an important part of the look. We also replicated leaded lights and decorative moulded surrounds. The new windows were manufactured in Accoya wood and glazed with slim-profile sealed units, filled with Krypton-gas to ensure the thermal performance was not compromised. The hardware was all Dark Bronze finish by From The Anvil. Doors were factory-finished to colour match Farrow & Ball “Railings”, and the windows on the front elevation were finished in “Oyster White” which is a really nice off-white, the perfect finishing touch.
